Libro Genealógico Intervenido: It is about the memory that is lost and rebuilt over time to create an identity. The book contains all my genealogy printed in acetate and intervened with portraits that form a story through the superposition of transparencies and images, emulating the memories that each generation forgets and reinvents.
The piece was part of the selección of the "BIENAL INTERNACIONAL DEL LIBRO DEL ARTISTA" at Centro de la Imagen.
TAMAYO MUSEUM
In 2013 the Alumnos Foundation acquired the “Libro Genealógico Intervenido” as part of their artist book collection. The creation of this specific collection was the starting point to a series of conferences and artist talks with the authors, at one of the most important contemporary Art Museum in México City: The Tamayo Museum.
